2013 - Mar 19 Walk Thru the Park and Dinner at Swampy's

Today we walked all over the campground section of the park. The short nature trail took us to the river's edge where there was a canoe launch and swimming area. I got a shot of a Great Blue Heron flying down the river, just off the water. Look closely.

After going to McDonald's to post yesterday's stuff and look up some camping spots for next year, we headed for Swampy's Bar & Grille, an interesting place we spotted from the road on the way into town. We ate dinner there, then came back to camp for a nap, then an evening stroll around the campground before starting to get today's pictures ready and write this.
