We got to the museum about 12:45. It was fairly crowded due to the fact that today was the museum's grand reopening. Our friends, Gary & Andrea suggested we go with them tomorrow, but since we're leaving for Collier Seminole, we decided to chance it on our own today. The traveling exhibit called Leonardo da Vinci, Machines in Motion was very interesting.
One of the other interesting exhibits was the antique automobile rack. They had about 50 cars & trucks in a big rack. You could go to a terminal and learn about the cars. If there was one in particular that you wanted to see up close, just tell the attendant and, after a few clicks, the car was retrieved and positioned on a turn table right in front of you. Pretty cool!
They also have a pretty impressive signed baseball collection, too. The pictures pretty much tell the story. Enjoy!
We've been invited by Glen & Lana, from northern Illinois, to their Aliner this evening to play cards. It's 6:50, almost time to go, so I'll get back with you tomorrow after we arrive at our next park.
