2013 - Mar 13 Air Boat and Tram Tour at Myakka River SP

We got down to the ticket office early (9:30), so we were on the first air boat tour of the day. Because we bought the air boat tickets, tram tickets were half price, so we did that, too. It was all very interesting. Notice in the tram tour pictures, the diversity of the vegetation. It can change almost instantly due to slight variations in elevation or soil conditions.

After the tours, we walked over to the weir on the west end of the lake and took a few photos there. Then it was back to camp for lunch, a nap and a shower before heading over to Art & Jo's so the women could play cards while Art & I attended to more manly things.
