2012 - Mar. 20 - Our Last Day at St. Joseph Peninsula

Marsha got up early this morning and went for a walk on the beach. After I got up and took my shower, we went for another walk on the beach. Then we went to the Tradin' Post to use the WiFi.

On the way back to the campground, we went over to the cabin area which is on the bay side of the peninsula. Some people we met earlier today said we could use their boardwalk to access the bayside beach if we wanted to take a walk over there, so that's what we did. They weren't home, but we enjoyed the walk. The water was more calm than on the Gulf side, but just as windy. We met some girls pulling a cooler down the beach on a BoogieBoard. Cool!

Back at camp, we cooked dinner. Right after dinner, we were almost overrun by people wanting to take a look at the camper. After they left, we had to hurry and do the dishes so we could catch our last sunset before we leave tomorrow morning. On the way home, we're going to go to Paxton, FL. Near there is a small monument marking the highest spot in Florida.

Stay tuned!
