We walked out the park road to and down to U.S. 41. About half a mile north, there is a river outfitter that we thought we'd check out and see about renting some kind of boat to float down the Estero River which borders the park. Problem was that the outfitter was on the other side of the highway and with the road construction and all of the traffic, we would have been taking our lives in our hands by trying to get to it.
So, we walked back to the park, ate lunch, and took a nap! After the nap, we ate dinner and went to Wendy's to use the WiFi. 'Course, it wouldn't be right to use the WiFi without buying something, so we each had a chocolate Frosty. Then we came back to camp and started a campfire so we could sit around and freeze, just like home. It must have been 55 degrees out there!
So that was about it for today. Tomorrow, we're going to rent a canoe at the park and paddle the river. See you then!
