2012 - Mar. 13 - Art and Jo took us to Myakka River State Park

We went over to Art & Jo's around noon today. Then we all loaded into Art's truck and took the scenic rout to Myakka River State Park. It's a nice park with 3 camping loops, the newest of which was redesigned in 2011. They made it larger and added spaces for large RVs, but there's not much shade there.

We went to the museum, had lunch at the Myakka Outpost, walked around the park, took some pictures and went back to Art & Jo's house by about 5:00. Marsha and Jo sat outside and shot the breeze while Art and I tried to drink all the beer he had in his fridge out in the barn. We came close, but no cigar.

We left there a bit after 10:00 and came back to the camper for a restful night's sleep.
