2014 Mar 4 - 8 - At Anastasia State Park, St. Augustine

We've been here since Monday. Today is Saturday. Not many pictures before today. Tuesday thru Friday was cold (low 50s), cloudy and rainy, so I didn't take many pictures. Our friends, Larry & Chris moved from St. Augustine to Satsuma, about 30 miles inland, so on Wednesday, we went to check out their new place.

We spent Thursday in a couple of huge outlet malls. Expensive way to spend the day, but it was warm. Friday was spent running for groceries, checking out the movie theater, but not going to a movie, and meeting up with Charlie and Carol, our friends from New Jersey whom we met here three years ago.

So, that brings us up to today. We rode the bikes to the farmers' market this morning, them came back to camp. We then went to the beach camp store to use the Internet before taking a walk on the beach. At about 2:15, we went to Charlie & Carol's site for what has become our traditional wine and cheese party We'll do it again in a few weeks when we see them at Oscar Sheerer State Park.

Then we came home and cooked chicken for dinner over an open wood fire. Good stuff!
