We boarded the prairie buggy this morning at the park office for the weekends-only Prairie Buggy Tour. Ranger Jan did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the prairie and a lot about its interdependencies.
We got back to camp at 11:30 and had lunch before I took a nap on the picnic table while Marsha read her book. We took a short bike ride before dinner. Marsha loaded two tin foil pouches with hamburger, sliced potatoes, onions, and carrots. We threw them in the fire for twenty minutes. It doesn't get any better!
While we were visiting with neighbors, a little green tree frog showed up. It was a great day!
