We drove north on A1A a couple of miles and went to the Long Point Store to get some ice and happened upon some D.J.'s Smoked Fish Dip. We had some with lunch when we got back to camp. Delicious!
After lunch, we rode the bikes 4.4 miles south along A1A to Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge, the first wildlife refuge in the USA, by order of Teddy Roosevelt. So, by the time we got back to camp, we racked up 8.8 miles of peddling. Nice ride!
We walked along the inlet and took a couple of pictures of fishermen, boaters, and dredgers who aren't dredging yet.
After a light supper of burgers and chips, we walked to the Night Sounds Concert in the Park. The St. John's Wood band was really good. There were a lot of people there.
Lots of exercise and fresh air today. I think I'm going to sleep well. Good night!
