Before we left Sebastian Inlet, I checked out the dredging operation. As far as I could tell, all the pipes were hooked up, the dredge head was in the water, and the pumper was running, but they weren't dredging. Maybe they were purging the lines before getting serious. Anyway, we left before they started dredging.
After a stop at Walmart in Vero Beach, we made it to Lake Kissimmee State Park. Total distance: Exactly 100 miles. We set up camp, but waited until Tuesday morning to set up the canopy because of the rain in the forecast and the tornado watch. We got the rain, but very little wind. Tuesday morning (today) was gorgeous!
After breakfast, we drove around the park to see where everything is and, since the general store was closed for some reason, drove down the road for gas and firewood. Then we got on the bikes and rode around for a while. The pictures pretty well tell the story from there. See you tomorrow.
