2015 Mar 09 & 10 - Henderson Beach to Rocky Bayou State Park

Didn't do much on Monday (except laundry) until we went to Pompano Joe's and had a seafood dinner. After a really good dinner, we went back to camp and sat around our last campfire there. It was a beautiful evening.

Tuesday morning after showers and breakfast, we had some time to kill because it's only 13 miles to Rocky Bayou State Park, so Marsha and I took another stroll on the boardwalk to the beach. Surf was up from what it had been. It was a beautiful morning.

We left about 11:00 and drove the 13 miles to Rocky Bayou State Park where we will spent three nights. Several of our group were already here when we arrived. Remind me never to book site 39 again. It backs up to the dog walk area. The aroma was like nothing we've experienced in Florida before!

We all went to Ciao Bella for pizza before the usual campfire and an early bed time.
