2013 Sept 16 Thermopolis to Badlands National Park

We were out of the Eagle RV Park in Thermopolis by 8:30am. We stopped in Tensleep, where I replaced the wheel bearings in the left wheel of the trailer last week, to gas up and check the bearing temperature. All's well with the bearings. On the sign in the photo below, you'll notice that "Ten Sleep" is two words. On the sign on the edge of town and on the map, it's one word, so take your pick!

I took a few pictures along the way. It was 422 miles from Thermopolis to Badlands National Park. We got one of the two remaining electric sites in the campground. I took a few pictures as we entered the park and around our campsite. In one of the pictures, our Aliner is in the foreground and you might see another Aliner in the background. It belongs to a guy named Dave who is from North Carolina, formerly from Wisconsin.

We'll be here for two nights and do a little exploring before heading toward home on Wednesday. Stay tuned!
