We got up this morning and went down to the pavilion to grab some coffee and donuts before hitting the road. The GPS said it was about a 7.5 hour drive to our campground near Bar Harbor, Maine. We planned to bust the trip up into two days so we could stop at Red's Eats in Wiscasset, ME for the "best lobster rolls on the planet," according to our friend Jim (and Bonnie) from Minneapolis. So we ended up in Sebago Lake State Park, ME tonight. Pretty pricey for a state park, at $37.45 a night (add $11.00 because we're not from Maine-good way to promote tourism), but a beautiful spot as you will see.
We ate a great meal and enjoyed a campfire, thanks to a neighbor who gave us some firewood. We tried out the Rufus Teague Touch O' Heat Sauce on the pork loin, It was great!
We're turning in now. Good night!
