2013 - May 19 Aliner Factory Tour

Our tour was scheduled for 1:00pm, so we weren't in a hurry to get up, shower, and eat breakfast. Steve and Cheryl rode with us for the twelve mile trip to Kecksburg. When we arrived at the factory, we could see the model of the eye witnesses' conception of the Kecksburg UFO which landed there on December 9, 1965. The factory tour was interesting. We went down the Aliner and Somerset production lines. I only took pictures of the Aliner line. The Somerset is the Columbia Northwest version of the defunct Coleman pop-up trailer for which they now have the manufacturing rights.

We got back from the tour at 3:30 and after a few cocktails, we cooked dinner with Jim & Jan. We sat around the campfire for a while before turning in.

It was a good day.
