2017 Feb 17-19 - My Brother's, Around the Park, SEAL Museum

On Friday evening, we went to dinner at the Long Point Cafe which is at the intersection of Route A1A and Long Point Road, where the campground is. Good food, but a bit pricey.
We got to my brother, Scot's, house on Saturday morning about 10:30. Marsha did a load of laundry, then we went to the Chubby Mullet for lunch. It's in a marina that has a big boat storage rack and building. They just lift the boats out of the water with a huge fork lift and set them on a rack.
After lunch, it was too late to go to the Navy SEAL Museum, so we decided to go on Sunday. Scot went home (on his motorcycle) and Marsha and I did some grocery shopping and hung out in the park for a while before we went to Outriggers for a cocktail. We got back to camp just before dark and sat around the campfire for a while before turning in.
Sunday morning, we hung around camp and took some photos. Jerry and Jane were headed for a campground in the Keys, so we said good-bye to them before we headed for the SEAL museum in Ft. Pierce.
The museum was real interesting and well worth the $10 admission fee. There was a path to the beach just across the parking lot, so we took a short stroll in the sand before heading back to camp and throwing some burgers on the open fire grill.
