This morning we had our last game drive in Kenya as we left the Maasai Mara on our way to Tanzania. We saw elephants, hippos, hyena, ostrich, and giraffe on our way to the border. We entered the town of Namanga where we departed Kenya on one side of town and entered Tanzania on the other side. They just checked our passports and visas at each place.
Our entire group rode to Arusha on a large bus, stopping at the Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch where we were picked up by new drivers in new safari buses. We proceeded to Tarangire National Park where we went on a game drive on the way to the Tarangire Sopa Lodge. We saw several sites along the way including many Baobab trees.
Dinner and a comfortable bed ended our long day.
