The last couple of days at Ft. De Soto were so cold and windy (56 deg. and 30mph) that we just hung around the campground. You can see the guy on the wind surfer flying across the water. Last time we were here, it rained all four days. Marsha says it's a nice park, but we don't seem to have very good luck when it comes to the weather, so we may not be back.
It's warmer at Myakka River State Park. We've ridden the bikes to the Myakka Outpost, about a quarter mile, and to the birdwalk, about a mile and a half. The pictures pretty much speak for themselves. Enjoy!
