2013 - Jan 08-Day 5 - The Seven Bay Boat Tour, Snorkeling, Etc.

We left the hotel this morning at 9:00 dressed in swim suits and ready for a water adventure. We were picked up in an air conditioned Toyota van, the likes of which I have never seen. It was stretched and widened which provided seating for at least eleven people. There's a picture of the same type of van below. It would make a great tow vehicle for our Aliner.

Anyway, a twenty minute ride got us to the bay in Santa Cruz where I picked up my snorkeling gear and we boarded the boat. The first few photos after leaving Santa Cruz are of some of the same things we saw yesterday, but from the on-the-water perspective.

We had a great day. Nice boat ride, snorkeling in the Huatulco National Park, lunch in Organo Bay and a lot of fun in between. the first few photos below were taken by one of the guides while we were snorkeling. After that, the photos are in chronological order.

After we had tipped everyone, they lead us to our ride back to the resort. It was kind of an open air cattle truck, but the breeze felt good.

It's late now because we took a nap and didn't make it out for dinner at the Castaways until 8:30. Then we went up above to the Sugar Reef for a few cocktails. Thank goodness for spell checkers!
