2018-03-25 - 27 St. Andrews, Dusty's Oyster Bar, Hunt's Oyster Bar

We went to Dusty's Oyster Bar on Sunday evening. What a place! We sat at the shucking bar and talked to several other people from around the country. Red, one of the shuckers, took good care of us. The food was great and the atmosphere was unbeatable. We had a great time!

Monday was laundry day, so that took some time and we didn't do much else that day.

Tuesday, we took a hike along Gator Lake in the park before heading for the beach. It was the usual beach scene, but we did enjoy watching the guys and gal who were kite boarding in the surf. After that, we headed for Hunt's Oyster Bar, a place that was highly recommended by someone we talked to. The food was great, but the atmosphere couldn't hold a candle to Dusty's. We had a good time and a good meal there.

Wednesday, we're off to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, our last stop before heading home. More from there!

2018-03-21 - 24 St. Andrews State Park, Panama City Beach

This will be a short narrative. Not doing anything exciting. Weather is getting much better, so we're going to Dusty's Crab Shack for dinner tonight.

Just a few pics I took over the past few days.

Oh! we ate dinner at Hook'd Bar & Grill, recommended by our dental assistant, Wendy, where I saw the bartender mix a bunch of booze together, then turn a can of Red Bull upside down in the glass. I had to get a picture of the 'Shipwreck', so I followed the waiter to the table. The food was good, too!
